Join me in my life of a regular Singaporean. Where there is nothing to do but shop and eat.
I am a 25 year old fresh IT grad searching for a career in a highly competitive market. At the moment I spend most of my life in front of my laptop. The internet is my currency to the world while I have none to spare ($$$). Read my thoughts and opinion. My triumphs and my breakdowns. I do not seek to inspire or beg to be praised. Simply my honest takes and I am all there is. |

.::Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore::.
.::Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore::.
Here in my 10th August 08 entry i'd like to wish my beloved Singapore a happy 43rd birthday. I hope she be blessed with more prosperity so that we dont have to suffer any more inflation. And i hope someone 'upstairs' comes up with an idea to expand our current 647km sq space to accomodate our ever increasing population 5 thousand grands including 1 million foreigners. Oh man... I just can stop thinking about that article i read about the Singapore population statistics. The number keeps haunting me. Of course the 'upstairs' people are happy about the number coz of increased job opportunities to help the country grow and stuff bla bla bla. And yeah, i'm happy for that but...5 million people in 647 km sq = very very blardy crowded lorrrr...
Yeah talking about 'lorrrr', i'm glad the neighbour's wedding havoc that happened in front of my first-storey flat is OVER. Gosh. Yesterday was the only time in this whole week that i stayed home and i had planned to catch up on my assignments that are due next week. But OMFG the karaoke and the din of the crowd plus music and all...they drove me nuts practically. Even listening to Norah Jones doesnt help AT ALL. Thus, I didn't even touch my assignment. Pretty bad huh. I just ended up watching tv the whole night.
Ok that's all in my mind right now. I'm off to do my assignments now...
